Yumiko Barbara Parker
quietly slipped away to be with her Heavenly Father on December 19, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. She was born December 3, 1954 to the late Eiko and Caldwell Chisholm in Hiroshima, Japan. Her parents brought her to the United States at a young age and, eventually, settled in Morristown, New Jersey.
Yumiko, affectionately called “Bobbie,” attended the Morristown School District. At the age of thirty-three, she sought employment at American International Group (AIG) where she worked for 29 years.
Bobbie was a wonderful mother who lived her whole life for her children and grandchildren. She was happily married to her husband, Wayne for thirty-five years.
She was predeceased by her brother, Frazier. She leaves to morn, her husband, Wayne; four sons: Christopher, Michael (Kneena), Patrick (Ayana), Matthew; one daughter, Kelly; one sister, Joanne Chisholm; one brother, Larry Chisholm (Marcia); four grandchildren: Jada, Sade, Mikele, and Patrick; three nephews: Marc (Tara), Jeremy and Darryl; and a host of relatives and friends.
